The City of Edina is currently seeking applications for the Children's Art Instructor position for pre-school art classes at Edina Art Center. This position will work on Fridays year round and possible other hours as available.

Develop classes and/or workshops that advance the goals of the Edina Art Center as an organization that meets community needs
Demonstrate the ability to teach child and adult learners
Demonstrate techniques and artistic skills to successfully teach classes
Work as a part of a team of instructors and staff to support the arts in Edina and surrounding communities

Desired Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience

Physical Requirements: Lift and carry supplies - up to 10 pounds, daily.Some requirements in this job description may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves or other employees.
