ENGINEER I

The City of St. Helens, Oregon, is seeking a full-time Engineer I. This position provides engineering services with sufficient supervision to develop water, sewer, street, storm drainage, and other public works projects and programs ensuring technical competence and compliance with all current codes and criteria; may serve as a project manager. Assists in planning and management of the design and construction of City public works projects; reviews private development plans for public improvements; assists in the administration of contracts and project budgets associated with contracted and consulted work; and performs related duties as assigned.

ENGINEER II

The City of St. Helens, Oregon, is seeking a full-time Engineer II to play a crucial role in key infrastructure projects. As Engineer II you will provide advanced level professional civil engineering work in design, review, planning, construction, and maintenance of public works projects, including streets, sanitary sewer, stormwater, water system, and transportation systems, and perform a full range of civil engineering tasks, including implementing City policies, standards, and procedures, guidance and coordination of other City staff, consultants, and contractors working on capital and private development projects and programs, assisting in the planning and management of complex City public improvement projects and municipal programs; reviewing public improvements proposed by private developers; and performing related duties as assigned.
