JC Porter is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to build and lead the FP&A function of a high-growth fintech company. This role will play a critical role in financial planning, investor reporting, and strategic decision-making while working closely with the executive leadership team. About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Lead budget vs. actuals analysis and provide insights to drive financial efficiency.
Own investor reporting, including quarterly financial performance updates.
Serve as a strategic finance partner to executives, providing data-driven insights.
Build financial models to support growth initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
Optimize financial workflows and processes to ensure efficiency with minimal staffing.
Collaborate closely with the accounting team to align financial reporting and operations.
Assist in long-term strategic planning to support company expansion.
Evaluate and implement financial tools and software to streamline reporting and analysis.
Support ad hoc financial projects and provide financial insights for business decisions.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

7-10 years of FP&A experience (strong candidates with 5-6 years will be considered)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or startup environment
Ability to develop and implement FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Experience conducting budget vs. actuals analysis and providing financial insights
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with executive leadership
Ability to build financial models for growth initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment decisions
Experience optimizing financial workflows and using technology to improve efficiency

Desired Qualifications:

Background in insurance or FinTech is a plus but not required
Understanding of PE-backed or VC-backed company structures
Experience with investor reporting and quarterly financial performance updates

Pay range and compensation package

Competitive salary range of $130,000 - $170,000, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications
