Under the direction of the Business Manager, take the lead role in developing, implementing and maintaining outreach strategies and marketing, to inform the public and service providers about ADRC services. Develop community relationships to coordinate evidence based prevention and early intervention activities. Advocate for resource development in the community to address the unmet needs of customers. Establish an on-going process to determine customer satisfaction with ADRC services. Update and maintain all marketing for ADRC of Northwest Wisconsin, including agency website. Publish monthly ADRC newsletter and coordinate distribution.These duties represent the typical duties and responsibilities assigned to this position but may not be inclusive of all tasks performed.

Develop and implement ongoing programs for public awareness and education of ADRC services to elderly, adults with disabilities, family caregivers, community agencies, service providers and general public.
Obtain and maintain in-depth understanding of the functions of the ADRC and roles of the positions within the ADRC

Deliver engaging and informative presentations to diverse audiences, representing the agency's mission and programs.

Regularly update website content to reflect new programs, services, events, and initiatives. This includes drafting, editing, and publishing new pages or modifying existing ones.

Represent the agency at public events, meetings, and conferences, confidently articulating its values and initiatives.
Conduct public outreach and education efforts, including presentations to community groups and stakeholders.

Ensure marketing, outreach and prevention requirements of State ADRC and Aging contracts are met.
Collect data for management to monitor and track the effectiveness of awareness and education efforts.
Create and update brochures and flyers using computer applications, create displays, handouts, and/or presentations for informational programs. Maintain appropriate ADRC promotional materials.
Assure information on programs and services is current, useful to staff and customers and accessible to persons with physical, cognitive, visual and/or hearing impairments/disabilities.
Work with individuals and agencies throughout the service area in order to maintain local and public-facing statewide resource database as a current and useful resource to ADRC staff and customers.
Prepare descriptions about organizations and services for entry into the database utilizing proper protocols and assuring information provided is accurate and up to date.
Research and gather information about organizations and community services using print literature, internet, telephone interviews, site visits and/or community forums for use in database and for hard copy distribution to customers.

Implement a process for identifying the unmet needs of elderly persons and persons with disabilities based on resource information collected, experiences in providing outreach and input from ADRC staff, advocates and other health and human service providers.
Coordination of evidence-based prevention and early intervention programs. Coordination includes but is not limited to securing community partners for program activities, scheduling speakers and workshops, overseeing registration process, providing marketing and outreach activities specific to programs and ensuring data collection and entry for reporting requirements.
Gather consumer input to use in on-going quality assurance and quality improvement activities for the ADRC (i.e. customer surveys).
Participate as a team member of the Department to improve office efficiency and cooperatively solve problems
Fulfills the department’s mission and purpose

Education/Experience:

Associate Degree in marketing, communication, health promotion or related field; strongly preferred with 2 years related professional experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Previous experience in consumer education and/or marketing.
Customer service experience, including working with elderly or individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities, mental illness and/or caregivers.
