Transportation Coordinator - Senior Services - White Salmon, WA,- Full Time, Non-Exempt, Grade 35, Step 1-3, $20.15-$21.35/Hr. DOQ. First review January 31, 2025, Open until filled.
Responsible for servicing requests for transportation, assigning and scheduling drivers and for the compilation of transportation records provided.
Essential Job Duties:- Receives requests for transportation, determines the proper program under which these services should be provided, and schedules the trip either on a van route or with a volunteer driver, as appropriate.
- Compiles daily schedule for each paid and volunteer driver.
- Compiles monthly program reports of trips and miles served in various transportation programs.
- Formulate and maintain billing sheets for various passenger programs and monitor passenger payment of fees.
- Compile volunteer miles and hours monthly for reimbursement.
- Count passenger donations with Office Manager for bank deposit.
Additional Job Duties:- Coordinates with Operations Manager regarding drivers' schedules and working hours.
- Explains the transportation program to volunteers and clients, and helps facilitate client access to the service.
- Accuracy in handling and processing large volumes of detailed information.
- Perform other related duties as needed
- Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques and related tools/equipment to accomplish the basic function of this position, including any safety and/or legal requirements. This may, but not necessarily, include specialized skills.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform this job. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be
- High school diploma or GED, and experience working with the public in an office environment. Computer experience is required.
- Valid state driver's license in state of residence
- Designated safety sensitive, which requires random drug and alcohol testing.
