Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to support the Finance Director in Finance Program activities. Responsible for all areas relating to financial accounting. Develops and maintains department-specific accounting policies, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders inside and outside the County. Provides management of payroll and accounting staff. Addresses tight deadlines and a variety of finance and accounting activities including general ledger preparation, management and financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and the support of budget and forecast activities.
Pay Rate
The monthly salary range is from $9,071.59 to $11,028.17, depending on experience, plus full benefits.

Requirements
- Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
- Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 200 within the first year of employment.
- Work on site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Qualifications/Education
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in accounting, finance, or public administration, or a closely related field, and
- eight (8) years of progressively responsible governmental accounting or finance work, or
- any equivalent combination of education and experience that the County deems appropriate.
