Job duties:
This is a department lead position with the Bookkeeping Department. Complete daily financial reports and tasks. Assist with financial emails, phone calls, and in person requests/questions. Assist in all departments and perform miscellaneous tasks as needed. The lead worker will be responsible for providing backup when the supervisor is not available. All other duties as assigned.
Required education and experience:
Graduation from high school and two years clerical and/or accounting experience.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
Computer experience, organizational skills, and time management skills are essential. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Ability to understand court procedures, policies and Kansas laws and make decisions accordingly.Ability to work collaboratively with court staff and other stakeholders. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Exemplary customer service skills a plus.
Preferred qualifications:
Courteous, professional and cooperative. Knowledge of the court system or legal experience is a plus.
