Lumicity is partnering with a leading company seeking a Safety & Risk Manager in Illinois to oversee safety programs and mitigate risks across commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in safety management, compliance, and incident prevention, with a focus on creating a safe working environment in a Drywall Construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Program Management: Implement and oversee safety policies and risk management programs.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Training: Develop and deliver safety training for all employees.
• Risk Assessment: Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement controls to prevent incidents.
• Incident Investigation: Lead accident investigations and ensure proper reporting and corrective actions.
• Claims & Cost Containment: Manage workers' compensation and liability claims, reducing overall costs.
• Safety Reporting: Produce reports, track performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish. (Writing Proficient as well)
• 5-10 years of experience in safety and risk management (construction or commercial preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in safety management or related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Located in or able to relocate to Illinois.
