Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an
  
  

organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation

(CHEA) or by the United States Department of Education (USDE). Major

coursework in Biology, Chemistry, Enviornmental Science, Occupational

Health, or a related field preferred. Each year of experience as

described below in excess of the required four years may be substituted

for thirty semester hours from an accredited college or university on a

year-for-year basis.

• Four years full-time, wage-earning experience in the management of an
  
  

enviornmental, health, and safety program.

• Experience in the supervision of employees preferred.
• Successful completion of the Alternate Uniit Risk Manager (AURM),
  
  

Collateral Duty Safety Officer (CDSO), or Occupational Safety Health

Administration (OSHA) certification program preferred.

• The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will
  
  

be $4,550.16**
