The Fleet Manager performs difficult technical and administrative work, and provides managerial oversight of the servicing, maintenance, repair and replacement of automobiles, trucks, and equipment throughout the City for the Fleet Management Services Department.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in fleet management or four years of related experience
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s license and good driving record
- Three years’ supervisory experience
- Six years’ experience in repairing automotive equipment
- NCDMV Inspector’s Certificate
- Certification as Emergency Vehicle Technician
- Certification in Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
Work Schedule
Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm. Paid bi-weekly.
Rotating shift (Week 1:Mon-Thurs, Week 2: Tues-Friday)
