The Director of Public Works performs under the general supervision of the City Manager and/or designee, which is the Assistant City Manager. This position plans, organizes, and facilitates the administrative and operational functions of the following divisions:
Administration
Facility
Grounds Maintenance - Contractual Provider
Fleet Maintenance - Hybrid Contractual Provider
Streets Maintenance
Stormwater
Solid Waste - Contractual Provider
The Director of Public Works is responsible for providing critical and significant public works services, including routine maintenance activities and long-term projects, which are necessary to meet immediate needs and forecasted demands building facilities and roadway infrastructure. Additionally, this position performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
