Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Receiving, inspecting, and counting incoming supplies, materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts, checking delivery invoices for accuracy, contacting vendors for shipment adjustments, and classifying and storing these items while assisting with storage planning and inspecting the serviceability of worn or damaged tools and equipment;
- Initiating purchases using a p-card and performing weekly and monthly reconciliations, along with utilizing basic computer skills to prepare daily tabulations of received and issued supplies, materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts, posting data in Synergen, maintaining records, checking Synergen for minimum stock levels, and initiating requisitions for stock replenishment;
- Operating hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment to move bulk material and operating a light motor vehicle for pickups and deliveries from various sources, as well as making periodic and annual physical inventories of supplies and equipment, providing clerical support services; and
- Performing other related duties as required.
Special Working Conditions: Work schedule is from 7:00 a.m. until 3:45 p.m., with varying days off depending on work needs. May also be required to work overtime, weekends, nights and holidays based on operational needs.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience that demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Two years of clerical experience, one of which must have been in computerized storekeeping work.
Such experience must have shown demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of storekeeping, purchasing rules and regulations, basic office procedures, along with the ability to inspect supplies to determine their operational fitness, perform clerical functions, make simple arithmetic computations, work harmoniously with others and follow oral and written instructions.
LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
Valid driver's license (Type 3/automobile) and forklift certification, as required.
