Case Manager

Summary Objective

The objective of this position is to serve as a Community Court Case Manager, providing comprehensive case management services that include reviewing filings, coordinating cases, and facilitating referrals to community-based services. This role is responsible for managing and preparing cases for court hearings, briefing judges, and attending hearings to ensure effective case presentation. Additionally, the position involves maintaining organized records and filing systems. Operating under close to general supervision.

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with coursework in sociology, criminal justice, social work, psychology, or related field. One (1) year of experience working with community or reentry programs. The incumbent of the position must be knowledgeable with the court process, interviewing, assessment, and intervention, must maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client participation through the use of case files; the ability to consult with family members, parents, social services and mental health professional.

This is a grant-funded position. Employment is based on the life of the grant.

This is a non-represented position.

This position requires the successful passing of a background check and drug screening.

Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License.
