Overseeing and managing a range of engineering projects from inception to completion will be a key responsibility. What you’ll be challenged to do:
- Design and manage projects in the City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) throughout the entire life of the project
- Delivery of projects within scope, budget and schedule.
- Prepare design and bid documents
- Prepare cost estimates and track budgets,
- Perform quality control and assurance,
- Oversee the bidding and Council award processes
- During the construction phase of a project, the Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the project is completed in accordance with the approval plans and specifications.
