We Require
- One year of experience performing specialized clerical and customer service duties
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
- High school diploma or GED

Job Contributions
- Answer the Diversion Strategies Group main phone line and assist with public and internal inquiries
- Pull defendant reports from the drug testing provider electronic portal and upload reports into MCAO’s case management system, PbK
- Complete various reminders in the Diversion Strategies Group queue, which includes contacting the assigned prosecutor upon notification of a diversion participant’s receipt of a new submittal to MCAO and determine whether the defendant should continue in the diversion program
- Assist with restitution cases, entering specific codes and/or notes into MCAO’s case management system, PbK
- Assist with the processing and review of minute entries uploaded into MCAO’s case management system, PbK
- Assist with the closure of cases in MCAO’s case management system, PbK
- Answer routine case questions received from diversion provider staff
Working Conditions
- Mostly office setting in high volume, fast-paced environment
- Requires long periods of sitting while completing computer activities
- Ability to travel to and from various county buildings
- Ability to lift boxes and/or pull mail carts weighing 25 – 40 pounds
- The Maricopa County Attorney's Office requires a thorough background check of all successful candidates and is authorized to test prospective employees for the presence of illegally accessed drugs
- Drug testing is conducted once an offer has been extended and prior to placement
