The City of Orange City is seeking a Human Resources and Risk Management Administrator to lead our municipality's efforts in fostering a safe, compliant, and thriving workplace. The Human Resources and Risk Management Administrator is responsible for direction and oversight of all functions within the disciplines of:

Required Education and Experience

  • A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management
  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration, or another related field
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position will be considered

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for the Human Resources and Risk Management Administrator is $99,741.86 to $118,992.05, a competitive health and medical benefits package, Senior Management Classification membership in the Florida Retirement System (FRS), 4 weeks of paid time off (PTO) accrued per fiscal year, with no annual rollover limit and no accumulation cap, and accrual increases every 5 years. This position is offered an optional "9/80" work week, where the incumbent works 7:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Thursday, 8:00am through 5:00pm every other Friday, with the opposite Friday as a scheduled day off.
