The purpose of this position is to protect property, serve the citizens and deter crime within the City. This is accomplished by promoting a secure environment through daily Police operations. Other duties include enforcing traffic laws, reporting on motor vehicle accidents, investigating crimes, maintaining positive community relations, maintaining job proficiency and knowledge, interacting with other City employees and citizens and may include providing specialized services.
