INTERN II - BUDGET
The purpose of this position is to act as an administrative and technical assistant to Budget Department staff and other professional staff as assigned. Conducts research and analysis. Prepares reports as assigned. Assists with special projects as well as the preparation of proposals, memos, and correspondence. Creates and updates spreadsheets and databases. Assists in budget preparation and completes other assignments in the department as required. Assists with citizen inquiries and complaints. This position does not provide direction to other employees.
Must be enrolled in a college or university pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Valid Class C Drivers License with good driving record. No experience necessary.
Flexible 19 hours per week.If no preference, Monday-Thursday 8:15am - 1:00pm
