Job Description And Duties
Under the general direction of the Chief of Law Enforcement, the Chief of Protective Services and Security, is responsible for the overall operation of the Department of State Hospitals (DSH) Police Academy programs and activities; coordinate assigned activities with other facility Chiefs, outside agencies, departments, and instructors; to provide highly responsible and complex professional support to the Chief of Law Enforcement. The Chief of Protective Services and Security is also responsible for maintaining a secure and safe operation for the welfare of patients, staff, and the public.
