The Town of Jackson, Public Works Department is accepting applications for a full time, year round, Street Operator or Equipment Operator. Hiring range $57,287 - $67,674 annually $27.50-$32.50/HR DOQ. This is an excellent opportunity for a value centered, team-oriented professional. Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: High School graduation or equivalent, a Wyoming Class B Commercial Drivers License, and experience as an equipment operator.
This position has full benefits offered by the Town of Jackson currently including health, vision and dental insurance, premiums paid 100%, HSA matching contributions, government retirement benefits, $1000 deferred compensation match, and Paid Time Off (PTO), which covers vacation, sick and holidays with up front paid leave.
If hired at the Street Operator level, Operators are eligible to advance in position and compensation from Street Operator to Equipment Operator and then to Senior Equipment Operator with an additional 4.5% increase in addition to annual wage increases for those two advancements.
