JOB SUMMARY
This is a professional position with responsibilities that include safety training, claims review, experience review, proposing initiatives to improve loss experiences, etc. The incumbent will analyze the insurance needs of the organization to provide optimum coverage, costs, and claim settlement; collects, classifies, and analyzes data; collaborates with departments to ensure reporting and processing of claims and related information, and supports organization-wide safety initiatives. All work is performed under the general supervision of the Finance Director and will work closely with the Human Resources and Legal Departments of the City.
