Job Description And Duties

DSH-Napa Protective Services has an opening for a permanent, full time Assistant Chief of Police position. The incumbent for this position will assist the Police Chief and Executive Director in the development and implementation of policy and procedures and perform other related duties as needed. The Assistant Chief of Police is the second in command at Napa Protective Services Department. An Organizational Chart is available for review at the Police Department, please contact 707-253-5333.

Recruitment and Retention pay is available for selected candidate PAY DIFFERENTIAL 154

This classification is also subject to Section 5, Hiring-Above-Minimum (HAM) Authorization of the California State Civil Service Pay Scales. The authorized HAM rate for this classification is $8,170.
