Barstool Sports is looking for an Assistant Media Planner to join their Pricing and Planning team. This role will sit in the Revenue Strategy & Operations group and be responsible for supporting the Media Planners in strategizing and creating media plans for client campaigns and tentpoles. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to retain a significant amount of information pertaining to Barstool’s offerings, begin to think strategically on how those offerings can benefit clients and possess an overall understanding of the digital & social advertising
landscape.
What You'll Do
Assist with ideating and creating media plans for upcoming campaigns
Communicate across teams (i.e. pricing, programming, production, marketing, sales) and ensure there is alignment across the board on pitched ideas, sellable assets, and any upcoming events
Coordinate with account managers, sellers and ad ops to ensure that all tentpoles and events being pitched are tracked against deliverables sold as well as revenue booked
Input sold campaigns into Barstool’s Inventory Management System, Jupiter
Keep an open dialogue with sales, marketing and ad ops to understand and react to market feedback as well as ad product performance
What You Have
1 year of internship or work experience in digital media preferred – Publisher, Ad Tech, or Agency
Experienced in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and Google Suite
Team-first mentality with a willingness to help where needed
Demonstrate a strong work ethic with a propensity for proactivity and desire to learn
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work efficiently and collaborate cross-functionally
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to work toward long-term goals while delivering short-term wins
Salary Range: 65,000-70,000k
