$57,304.73 and is based on applicable experience.
Building Inspector TRAINEE Pay
If you do not currently have the required certifications, you will be hired as a TRAINEE earning
$52,881.38 until your certifications have been completed according to the time expectations detailed below.
In addition to the base salary, this full-time position is eligible for an annual performance bonus as well as a longevity bonus.

Description
Under the direction of the Building Official, this position is responsible for technical and administrative work of considerable difficulty while conducting commercial, residential, and zoning inspections for code compliance and life safety, and performs related work as required. Duties may include but are not limited to, meeting with builders, contractors, owners, and other professionals inspecting a variety of construction work and providing guidance regarding code compliance.
