Help support Parks and Recreation in their mission to enhance the quality of life for all through the stewardship of public land and parks and to provide quality recreational experiences. The City of Charlottesville is seeking qualified candidates who are highly motivated and who strive for success by demonstrating Charlottesville's Core Values of Commitment, Integrity, Respect, Innovation, and Collaboration.

Officials receive $27.00 per game. This is a seasonal/temporary position and is not eligible to receive City benefits. This position officiates Flag Football sporting events, games, competitions and tournaments. Charlottesville Parks and Recreations Flag Football program offers a fun and competitive environment for players of all skill levels (youth & adult). The leagues feature 7-on-7 gameplay, emphasizing teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship. Games are held weekly, with an 8-10 game regular season, and a 2-week playoff each season. Reports to a Parks and Recreation Operations Specialist.
