The primary job duties of this position include: - Research ownership, title history, and encumbrances of properties identified for acquisition.
- Coordinates and negotiates with property owners, tenants, and legal representatives for the purchase of fee simple, easement, or use of private property.
- Orders and reviews appraisals and prepare acquisition offers in accordance with fair market value.
- Prepares or reviews legal instruments such as easements, deeds, and rights-of-entry.
- Works with legal staff on eminent domain proceedings when needed.
- Coordinates with engineering, planning, and construction teams to align property needs with project requirements.

Licensing/Certifications:
- Real Estate License
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Current Notary Public commission is preferred, but not required.
