The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department is accepting applications for a regular part-time Facilities Assistant.
- Answering phones
- Collecting fees for registrations and rentals
- Preparing and securing the facilities for events
- Assisting customers, participants, and volunteers as needed
- Monitoring league games, tournaments, and special events
- Maintaining and operating equipment
- Working special events and other related duties
- Option to work paid specials
Hours vary - Must be available evenings and weekends (average of 29 hours per week). Special events may require additional scheduled hours. Minimum 4-5 hour shift.
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license
- Good communication and customer service skills are a must.
