The position exists to perform the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of electric systems and related equipment at MnDOT facilities in accordance with State Electrical codes. Examples of work for this position include but are not limited to:
• Installs, maintains, and repairs all electrical systems so District buildings and facilities are functional, safe, meet codes, and allow maximum utilization by employees and other users.
• Performs or assists in all other building trades and non-trades functions related to building construction, remodeling and maintenance ensuring the integrity of all building structures, building systems and facility sites in the District.
• Maintains and repairs all facilities and equipment in the District so they can be utilized with maximum efficiency.
• Ensures appropriate procedures, permits, and inspection documentation meet compliance required by the State Board of Electricity.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Possession of a current Minnesota Class A Master Electrician's license.
• Valid Driver's License.
