Qualifications
Knowledge of:
- Storekeeping and inventory methods and procedures.
- Nomenclature, grades and classification of a variety of supplies and materials.
- Operation and maintenance of stockroom equipment.
Ability To
- Maintain records.
- Perform heavy manual work in lifting and moving stock.
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and other stockroom equipment.
Experience And Education
Any combination equivalent to experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be two years of experience in storekeeping and inventory work.
