The City of Surprise Parks & Recreation team is seeking a Part-Time Rec III who is looking to bring their creativity to life! We’re looking for someone with an eye for design and detail who’s excited to support teen programs, marketing efforts, and social media outreach. Summary
Incumbents plan, implement, and coordinates programs and special events, supervise facilities or specific programs or activities, and are responsible for customer services, problem solving, leading programs or activities. Incumbents also delegate duties to Recreation Leader I and may register and take payment from participants if needed.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED, and six months of related experience. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience. Must be 18 years of age or older.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Driver License. Must obtain CPR and First Aid certifications within the first 90 days of employment. Must keep these certificates current while employed in this position.
SELECTION PROCESS
Applicants whose education, training and experience most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to participate in a selection process to include a panel interview
