This director level position manages Convention & Visitors Bureau operations, leading strategic marketing and promotional efforts to increase visitation, overnight stays, and local economic impact.
The position also serves as the primary liaison to tourism and community partners, supports event recruitment, and visitor services, manages the CVB budget, performance reporting, and supervises staff to ensure effective, high-quality program delivery.
Requirements
- 3–5 years related experience & valid driver’s license.
- Strong communications, supervisory, and marketing skills.
- Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.
- Live within city limits within six months of hire.
Compensation
- $86,000 — $96,000 plus excellent benefits
