The City of Gresham is seeking a collaborative, service-oriented, and technically skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support the Department of Environmental Services (DES) as part of the City’s Information Technology Department. This person will play a key role in analyzing business needs, improving operational processes, and implementing technology solutions that enhance how staff and the community access and use operational and environmental information. The BSA reports to the IT Enterprise Applications Manager and serves as a primary resource for business systems support, data integrity, system integrations, and continuous improvement. The position supports the Department of Environmental Services team and collaborates with staff across multiple divisions to ensure that related business applications are effectively integrated with enterprise systems used by DES.

Position Description:
What you will get to do:
- Serve as a primary business systems resource and subject matter expert for integrating enterprise business applications and operational systems.
- Analyze business processes, requirements, and data needs to support integration activities between departmental software solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and validate enterprise datasets used by applications and business systems.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to departments using business systems.
- Design solutions for accessing, visualizing, and analyzing data originating from multiple business systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand operational needs and define requirements for system improvements.
- Facilitate project team meetings and coordinate the planning, analysis, design, and implementation of business systems projects.
- Determine business objectives, document scope, gather detailed requirements, manage changes, and assist with implementing system enhancements.
- Perform Other Duties as Assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems management, public administration, business administration, data science or analytics or related field.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible professional experience performing business systems analysis, application support, system integration, or related technical work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Applicable professional certification related to information systems or business analysis.
- Experience with scripting or programming tools used for workflow automation, data processing, or system integration.
- Experience supporting business systems or operational workflows in a public-sector or infrastructure-related environment.
- Experience using tools that support data transformation, system integration, or data migration processes.
- Experience with integration of enterprise applications such as work management and Enterprise Asset Management.
- Foundational understanding of enterprise networking concepts, system architecture, and security considerations.
