Through strategic Marketing and Economic Development, we tell the City’s story, drive business success, and position Osage Beach as a premier destination and a thriving, pro-business community.The Marketing & Development Intern will support active City initiatives with real impact. This is not observational. Interns will contribute to projects that support residents, businesses, and long-term economic direction. This position is unpaid and designed for students seeking academic credit and hands-on experience in public sector marketing and economic development.Supervision Received The Marketing & Development Intern is responsible to and performs under the direct supervision of the Marketing & Development Director.

- Assist with social media content planning and execution
- Support short-form video and digital storytelling
- Contribute to website content updates and research
- Help expand the Business Community Spotlight program
- Help launch and grow the Heart of the Community citizen recognition series

Economic Development Support
- Research and support development of a City economic development portal
- Assist with industry and market research tied to future economic direction
- Support outreach materials that position Osage Beach as pro-business
- Help communicate progress related to the Sports Feasibility Study and other strategic initiatives

Candidate Requirements- Undergraduate in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Administration, or related field
- Strong writing, interviewing, and research skills
- Interest in civic engagement and community development
- Be self-directed and comfortable working with guidance
