Position: RECREATION SUPERVISOR
FLSA: Regular/Full-Time/Exempt
Salary Range: $35,568 - $37,568 Annually
Department: Parks and Recreation
Reports To: Parks and Recreation Director

Position Summary
Leads and oversees a diverse range of athletic and recreational programs for all age groups, while managing marketing and promotional efforts for the department. Supervises staff and volunteers, including hiring, training, and performance management. Supports departmental policies and procedures, assists with budget development and oversight, and manages program planning projects and overall operations.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS And REQUIREMENTS
Valid New Mexico Drivers License with acceptable driving record.
High School Diploma or GED Certificate
Bachelors degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Physical Education, or related field.
2-4 years experience in coordination, development and supervision of athletic programs and activities.
Experience coordinating leagues, tournaments and athletic events.
