Position Summary
The Enterprise Risk Professional supports the execution and ongoing maturity of the credit union’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program by strengthening risk identification, governance, and operational resilience practices across the organization. This role contributes to maintaining a comprehensive and well-governed risk framework that promotes regulatory compliance, effective risk mitigation, and informed decision making.
This role plays a key part in maintaining the enterprise risk register, administering policy and procedure governance, supporting business continuity and disaster recover readiness, and coordinating legal and regulatory response activities. Working closely with enterprise risk leadership and business units, the Enterprise Risk Professional helps ensure risks are clearly documented, monitored, and escalated, and that governance processes are well controlled, transparent, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
Required Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional discussions, prepare executive‑level reports, and communicate complex information clearly.
- Excellent communication and analytical reasoning.
- Ability to work independently with discretion and sound judgment.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in sensitive or high‑pressure situations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and comfort working with system‑based workflows and administrative platforms.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- 4-6 years of experience in credit union, enterprise risk, credit administration, compliance, audit, or related analytical function.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management concepts, frameworks, and regulatory expectations applicable to credit unions.
- Knowledge of credit union operations, policy management practices, and governance documentation.
- Familiarity with confidentiality standards, legal response processes, and compliance workflows.
Salary Range
- Minimum - $57,576
- Maximum - $92,122
