A well-established, mission-driven acute care hospital in the Los Angeles market is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team.
This is a high-impact role responsible for leading all financial operations of the hospital, driving performance, and partnering closely with the CEO and senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all aspects of hospital finance: budgeting, forecasting, revenue cycle, accounting, and financial reporting
- Provide strategic financial leadership to support operational growth and long-term sustainability
- Lead and optimize revenue cycle performance, including reimbursement, collections, and payer strategy
- Partner with executive leadership on service line expansion, capital planning, and cost management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, audits, and healthcare financial standards
- Present financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive healthcare finance experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role (CFO/VP Finance/Controller)
- Strong experience in acute care hospital finance (required)
- Deep understanding of reimbursement models, managed care, and revenue cycle operations
- Proven ability to drive financial turnaround, performance improvement, or growth initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA strongly preferred)
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence at the board and C-suite level
