Employee performs a variety of technical and administrative support functions for the Real Estate section of the Tax Administration Department. Work involves a generalized function in and supports the assessment of real estate taxes. Operation of basic office equipment including a telephone system, computer systems along with accuracy of work are primary prerequisites for this level of work. Some independent judgment and initiative must be exercised within the limits of prescribed practices and processes. Reports to and work is coordinated by the Deputy Tax Administrator and is evaluated through observation, records and reports.
Performs administrative support and clerical work as needed, including but not limited to data entry and answering the telephone. Performs basic public assistance in person and via telephone. Performs related duties as assigned.Performs data entry to update records with current information as assigned

Physical Requirements - Able to perform the life operational support functions of stooping, reaching, walking, typing, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
- Able to perform sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
- Possess the visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures and comprehend extensive reading
Graduation from high school or higher level of education with experience in data entry or working in a professional office setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
