The City of Midwest City is currently accepting applications for Pre-Treatment Coordinator in the Line Maintenance department. The incumbent is responsible for participating in and overseeing the monitoring and evaluation of all wastewater disposal activities and practices within the collection system. Responsibilities include monitoring and investigating abnormal discharges that may include but are not limited to: grease, oil, chemical and debris-laden discharges to the sanitary sewer system. Incumbent is also responsible for the pretreatment program and enforcement of the FOG (Fats, Oils & Grease) and industrial waste ordinances. High school diploma or GED required. Employee is required to possess an Oklahoma State Class "A" Wastewater certification. Must possess a valid Oklahoma drivers license and be insurable. A Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry or the equivalent of a related field is preferred. Computer experience with PC applications would be considered a plus in favor of any applicant for this position. Previous supervisory experience preferred. SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED Basic: 10-Key, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing.
