Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range is $116,101 - $129,001 / annually.

In this key position, you'll lead and manage our comprehensive risk management program, overseeing liability and property claims while collaborating with insurers to ensure our projects are safeguarded. You'll have the opportunity to develop and implement innovative safety and loss control programs, conduct thorough reviews of City contracts, and manage workers’ compensation effectively.
As the subject-matter expert, you'll provide vital guidance to department leaders and staff on risk management strategies and on crafting and revising policies that protect our community. A bachelor’s degree in business administration or management, the social sciences, public administration, or other related program; and Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in managing risk management functions, that includes at least two (2) years of work experience in a lead or supervisory role;
orAn associate degree in business administration or management, the social sciences, public administration, or other related program; and Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in managing risk management functions, that includes at least two (2) years of work experience in a lead or supervisory role;
orA high school diploma or equivalent and (8) eight years of progressively responsible experience in managing risk management functions, that includes at least two (2) years of work experience in a lead or supervisory role
Associate in risk management (ARM), Chartered Property Causality Underwriter (CPCU), or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification is preferred but not required

Apply Today: We ask that you complete and submit an online application AND INCLUDE A RESUME AND COVER LETTER (in the cover letter, please describe your Risk Management experience), which will be used to screen for minimum qualifications (MQs) and determine starting pay in accordance with the provision of the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
