The Office Support Supervisor directs administrative support for the Social Services Department. Directs the clerical functions of the Social Services Department, , and coordinates work for the clerical unit with other units in the Department.
Provides high level clerical administrative support and special projects for the Social Services Department.
Assists Department Supervisors with monitoring data or special projects.
Provides general administrative support for the department.
Supervises and develops office support staff and interpreters to ensure that the objectives of the department are met.
Performs other duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:This position requires two years of post-secondary education in business administration or related field, and two to four years of increasingly responsible clerical experience, preferably public-sector experience, or equivalent experience. A valid Driver’s License is required upon hire. Annual certification and/or training is required in Data Security and Privacy and Data Security for County Staff.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: Non-Union – Grade 110
HOURS: Normal business hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Full-time hours equal 40 hours per week.
