Summary
The Manager of IT & Professional Services Procurement is responsible for leading a team for the acquisition of goods and services in conjunction with and on behalf of the airlines’ Stations, Engineering & Maintenance, and other operating departments. The IT & Professional Services Procurement Manager is responsible to support, negotiate and manage a contracting procurement process to lead the acquisition of goods and services in conjunction with and on behalf of the airline’s various departments. They will also provide technical expertise needed to execute agreements that fit the scope of work provided by the IT department and its internal customers, in conjunction with assessing vendor competence and stability. Periodically, the Manager will review contract provisions to ensure the vendor and Allegiant are adhering to the terms and conditions. This position requires professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s Degree preferred.
Years of Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in aviation or leading a team of professionals in contracting, procurement and/or vendor management.
- Strong intellect and aptitude desired, along with the ability to manage multiple and varied activities
- Good leadership and people management skills, effective communication skills and an ability to prioritize and effectively problem solve
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with current and potential suppliers and service providers
- Demonstrated ability to significant interaction significantly with various departments internally including, but not limited to, Flight Operations, Inflight, Aircraft Maintenance, Airport Operations, Supply Operations and Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Duties
- Leads a procurement team responsible for supporting all aspects of the Source-to-Settle cycle for IT and Professional Services. This includes strategic sourcing, negotiations and contracting, and Purchase Order administration
- Works with the Procurement leadership to institute procurement practices and processes, that enable achievement of business goals and objectives
- Manages stakeholder relationships and expectations effectively to drive early influence in procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Delivers on cost reduction initiatives through assisting in the identification, development, and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives
- Leads the execution of due diligence in the sourcing process and ensures process integrity
- Builds strategic relationships with suppliers assists in vendor management processes, and proactively manages supplier and supply chain risk
- Collaborates with stakeholders on vendor performance and relationship management
- Manages adherence and compliance to company policies and controls, procurement processes and practices, drives proper use and maintenance of Procurement database and systems
- Supports other procurement categories on an as needed basis
- Educates users/internal recipients understand all aspects of the procurement process
- Identifies and promotes optimization of the procurement process, utilizing the systems available for continuous improvement
- Effectively manages a team of procurement professionals, ensuring appropriate workload balancing, conducting routine performance and development reviews, and establishing appropriate metrics KPIs to drive productivity and performance

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
