But for inspectors understanding codes, regulations and the reasoning behind them is critically important to keeping our community’s homes and commercial properties safe and secure. The City of Maplewood is looking for a Building Inspector that is not only an expert in the field, but someone who takes pride in ensuring homeowners and contractors understand the importance of structurally and mechanically safe buildings.
Maplewood is home to the 3M Campus, Maplewood Mall and St John's Hospital. Potential future projects include multi-family apartment buildings and the housing development of the Ponds at Battle Creek Golf Course.
