City of Pierz, pop. 1,300 is seeking eligible applicants for full time Police Chief. Qualified applicants must possess a high school diploma/GED, plus an Associates Degree in police/criminal justice or related field. Must be licensed by P.O.S.T. Board or eligible to be licensed by February 21, 2009. Starting salary range is between $43,000 to $50,000, dependent upon qualifications. Applicant must have five years of law enforcement experience with a minimum two years of administrative duties.
