Required Education and Experience:
- Must be 18 years or older at time of hire.
- Graduation from High School or GED equivalent; or currently enrolled in school and on track for graduation.
- One (1) year of experience in the field of sports recreation, customer service, and/or child care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work year-round
- Experience working in an early childcare setting with progressive responsibility
- Demonstrated enthusiasm with the ability to communicate professionally
- Ability to building working relationships and be a team player
Available Schedule:
- Up to 24 hours/week during preschool hours
- Preschool Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Flexible scheduling available
Compensation & Information on Benefits: The anticipated hiring range for the Recreation Leader II position is $16.79 (first step) to $17.62 (second step). Directly related experience and qualifications will be evaluated alongside others who perform work of comparable character as required by Pay Equity Law. Three steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
