PRIMARY DUTY:
Working under the supervision of the HR Director and Deputy HR Director, coordinates all
aspects of recruitment and retention, including working with departments on succession
planning and workforce needs. Responsible for facilitating educational seminars, including new
hire orientation, intern presentations, and community engagement to help support interest in city
of Burleson being an Employer of Choice. Ensures compliance with state and federal
regulations. Responsible for hiring related special projects and statistical analysis. Serves as
primary point of contact for management, employees and applicants on recruitment and
retention related matters.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business, public administration, or related field required.
- Prefer three years of recruitment experience
- Prefer two years of municipal HR experience.
- Experience with Tyler/Munis is desired
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
- Valid Texas Driver's license with good driving record required. Occasional travel to other city buildings and training sites.
