PRIMARY DUTY:
Perform Work including assisting in management of various financial administrative functions of the department as assigned. This includes, but not limited to, monitoring budget revenue/expenditure activities, office operation; management of payroll; records management; system administration of the recreation program/financial system which tracks programs and revenues; coordinates setup and financial tracking of new programs; and participates in financial analysis projects providing technical expertise and judgement. Interprets reports and communicates financial information. Provides support to management in fulfilling Council and departmental goals and objectives,
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years experience in corporate accounting, office administration or municipal setting.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
