Required Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and
- Three (3) years of experience in aquatics programs/events such as swim lessons, recreational open swim, and high school swim meets with one year of leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in recreation, or other specific area of study as deemed applicable may substitute for two (2) years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lifeguard Training Instructor
- Water Safety Instructor
- American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Trainer
- Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO)
- Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facility Operator
Available Schedule:
- Tuesday - Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The anticipated hiring range for the Recreation Supervisor - Aquatics position is $37.54 (first step) to $39.41or $41.38(second or third step). Directly related experience and qualifications will be evaluated alongside others who perform work of comparable character as required by Pay Equity Law. Sixsteps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
