WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
This AVP, Financial Planning & Analysis and Anaplan Lead position supports the financial and strategic analysis related to the management of Revantage corporate operations. This person will drive our Anaplan system initiatives. This person will help with the Revantage budget and forecast process, and will assist with benchmarking analysis for Blackstone, cost allocations and board book presentations. This person will help lead a growing team responsible for the monthly / quarterly financial reporting and analysis of Revantage corporate results. This person will interact extensively with Revantage leadership and department heads. This position is based in Dallas, TX.
How You Add Value
- Manage our Anaplan system for time tracking, including partnering with a third party on system upgrades and enhancements
- Model and maintain cost allocations; perform scenario analysis of cost allocations to provide insights of costs
- Provide day-to-day support for all employees for time tracking in Anaplan
- Manage preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecast process for Revantage including maintaining accurate files, coordinate budget/forecast meetings with department heads, our business partners, and providing budget/forecast/actual variance analysis
- Collaborate with other teams within Revantage, real estate portfolio companies (PCs) and Blackstone to provide meaningful reporting and analysis of Revantage results and PCs results
- Manage monthly and quarterly operational reporting to Revantage leadership and department heads
- Support analytical and ad hoc information requests from executive management, PCs and Blackstone
- Provide data and analysis for board book and Blackstone requests
- Provide support for efficiency projects for Revantage
- Lead special projects, as needed
Required
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 7 years of progressive, relevant experience in FP&A/financial reporting
- Minimum 3 years of people management experience
- Experience with Anaplan, required
- Experience with Workday, preferred
- Extraordinary oral and written communication skills ability to effectively discuss financial results and communicate with business leaders
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights verbally and visually
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Demonstrate leadership experience in management and developing high-performing teams
- Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple properties and meet deadlines.
