Required Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and
- One (1) year of progressively responsible building and facility operations experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Building Operators Certification
- Forklift Certification
- CPR and Basic First Aid
- Knowledge of complex principles, methods, standards, and techniques associated with the scope of work for the following recognized professions:
- Plumber, Electrician, HVAC Technician, Carpenter.
Available Schedules:
- 8 hours daily, Monday - Friday
- Opportunity for alternate schedule after the first 90-days:
- 4-10 (four 10-hour days with three days off each week)

The anticipated hiring range for theBuilding Utility Technician I position is $21.79(first step) to $22.88 or $24.02(second or third step). Directly related experience and qualifications will be evaluated alongside others who perform work of comparable character as required by Pay Equity Law. Six steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
