This position will be scheduled to work 19.5 hours per week.
Work hours will primarily be Monday – Friday with frequent weekends and evenings required for events and will vary depending on program needs.
SUMMARYThis temporary position supports the planning and coordination of current and new arts and culture events and programs. Primary responsibilities include coordinating with artists and presenters leading up to events, day-of-event coordination, and working with artists and community members to improve existing programs and develop new programs. Incumbents in the position may also support the public art and grants program as needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or GED, and six months of related arts & culture, arts education, and/or event planning, experience. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
